From the RV campground, you can already see the sails of the boats on the Langweerder Wielen and the Langweerder Vaart. A short walk of about 3 minutes will take you to the private jetty.

Here you can sit quietly and enjoy the peace and quiet, nature, or the boats passing by, or you can go stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, kayaking, or canoeing from here.

Beautiful motorhome site with all amenities. Beautiful spacious motorhome sites surrounded by nature. Quietly located in Friesland, in the town of Bornswaag. Spacious washing-up area, with the option to use the washing machine free of charge (please bring your own detergent). Covered bicycle storage with the option to charge electric bicycles. Everything is included in the price.
You can also browse and, if you like, purchase a nice bag or other (handmade) souvenirs. We received a warm welcome here too.
Keep up the good work. We'll be happy to come back when we're in the area again.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners, Ben and Greta. The RV sites are very spacious and almost all of them offer a view of beautiful farmland where you can see rabbits, herons, storks, and all kinds of other birds foraging. The sanitary facilities are neat. It is a beautiful central base for many cycling trips in the lake district of Friesland. You can store and charge your bikes under a spacious canopy. We enjoyed the beauty and tranquility there. We wish Greta and Ben much joy and success.

Because our TomTom took us to another location nearby, we were welcomed with open arms after contacting them by phone and were allowed to choose a spot to park. We were given all the information we needed for our stay. Spacious parking spaces, clean sanitary facilities, shower, toilet, and washing-up facilities. Covered area where you could charge your electric bikes. Wide views and peace and quiet. We took bike trips to Sneek and Joure. We really enjoyed the nature along the way.
Super friendlyowners. The owner has a hobby of running her own leather workshop, where she makes all kinds of things, including bags, one of which we bought.
As soon as we are in the area again, we will definitely return.

We ended up at this beautiful RV park by chance during Ascension Day weekend in 2025. It was wonderful for peace seekers like us. The owners, Ben and Greta, are very hospitable and give great tips for exploring the area by bike, boat, or SUP. The RV park is a great place to go SUPing. Greta also has her own studio where she sells various leather goods. We would love to come back here again.

You can buy a nice bag right away at the Greatt store on the campsite. The bags are so reasonably priced that many customers decide to buy several bags.
